The website received the 2011 WebAwards Outstanding Website award for their newly designed website, launched earlier this year. The WebAwards competition is now in its 15th year of operation and is considered to be the premier website award competition that names the best websites in 96 industries around the world.
Located in Connecticut, USA, WebAwards draws on website experts from around the world to critique and judge websites based on seven criteria: Design, Innovation, Content, Technology, Interactivity, Copywriting and Ease of use.
Edifier International received a total score of 64.5 / 70 points to place second in industry, 12 points higher than the industry average and 10 points higher than the WebAwards overall average.
